Curriculum
Our 3 year old classroom, provides an exciting opportunity for transition as your child learns and grows in our center. Our threes are now 100% potty trained, have learned their basic colors and shapes, are learning their ABC's, and are now ready to expand their horizons.
Monday-Friday the children work on colors, shapes, numbers, weather, calendar concepts (days of the week, month, date and year), pledge to the flag, opportunities to be classroom helpers, and continue with name recognition.
In addition, the children are introduced to letters using the Letter People curriculum. This opens the door to further growth as we increase their vocabulary through literature.
Our threes trace their names, letters and numbers, and work on basic reading-readiness skills. Reinforcement of skills is done through hands-on learning, songs and music, as well as weekly homework papers which we encourage you and your child to work on together.
